Lyrical ImagIZ offers a full line of volume portrait photographs for schools, sports leagues, dance schools, and churches. This unique fundraising program provides two options for generating funds for your organization, costume day and family portrait day at the same time giving you the ability to raise funds with little effort. Professional studio quality portraits are always in demand and at school picture prices they easily sell themselves resulting in generous profits. Traditionally, school portrait day has been a day to benefit students, their parents, and of course, the commercial portrait studios that take the pictures. Many schools do not see any of the profits from the sale of traditional picture packages. Those that do, usually receive a very low percentage (i.e., 10-20%) of total profits.

Costume Day is Lyrical ImagIZ signature program. Using a unique blend of dress up and fashion photography techniques we supply a variety of outfits that, with the exception of infants and toddlers, fit right over the child’s clothes. Children have a great time playing dress-up and posing in a variety of ways in front of the camera.

In general, school portrait day continues as it always has in 4 simple steps:

1) A day is selected to take school pictures.
2) Notices and order forms are sent home to parents.
3) Parents prepay for one of several preset packages.
4) Approximately two weeks later (depending on the size of the school), finished packages are available for students to take home. Parents who wish to order additional packages may do so on our website.

Family & Friends Portrait Day is a day when families can come together, on a day that is scheduled by the school (weekday, weekends, and evenings available) and have a professional family portrait taken. Prior to the event, certificates are made available for sale to parents for a nominal cost (e.g., $25.00). Each certificate entitles the bearer to a professional portrait sitting and an 8x10 color or black & white portrait. A volunteer or volunteers from your school contact certificate holders and schedule a time for their sitting. Typically, four to five family sittings are scheduled for each hour of the event. Finally, previews or proofs of the portraits are made available at the school. At this time families choose their 8x10 portrait, and place any additional orders they might have. After all orders and sales are finalized, the typical school or school group receives 50% of the net profits (that's about 40% of the gross). It's that simple.
